What is Buscopan IBS Relief?
These tablets are taken to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in people who have been previously diagnosed with the condition by their doctor. It is an antispasmodic medicine which works to relieve the painful stomach cramps that often come with IBS.
One tablet should be taken three times a day to ease your symptoms.
What is Buscopan IBS Relief used to treat?
Buscopan IBS Relief is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It works to relieve the abdominal pain that is caused by stomach cramps in people who suffer from this condition.
Irritable bowel syndrome, often just referred to as IBS, is a condition where the muscles within your bowel become very sensitive to things like:
- Stimulants, such as coffee
- Eating and drinking certain foods
- Your eating and drinking habits
- Hormonal factors
These things can trigger abdominal pain due to cramps or spasms. Other symptoms include feeling bloated or excessive wind. Constipation or diarrhoea are other conditions associated with it in some cases.
Buscopan IBS Relief helps to relieve the physical pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
How does Buscopan IBS Relief work?
Buscopan IBS Relief tablets contain the active ingredient hyoscine butylbromide, which is an antispasmodic medicine. This ingredient works to relax the muscles in your bowel, which helps to ease stomach cramps that are often caused by IBS flare-ups.
Buscopan works very quickly, helping to ease IBS symptoms and painful cramps within just 15 minutes.
