About Zindaclin 1% Gel
  1. What is Zindaclin 1% gel?

Zindaclin gel is a topical antibiotic medicine that is used in the treatment of acne. It works to reduce spots and redness caused by this skin problem.

It contains a medicine called clindamycin phosphate, which fights the bacteria that causes acne. Zindaclin can be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.

You must have a prescription to be able to buy Zindaclin gel.

What is Zindaclin gel used to treat?

Zindaclin gel is prescribed to treat acne breakouts that are painful and irritating. It contains the active ingredient clindamycin phosphate and works by reducing the amount of bacteria on the skin. It also prevents the skin's pores from becoming blocked, which stops new spots from forming.

Additionally, Zindaclin gel can help to reduce the redness created by the spots you may already have.

    Acne and its symptoms

Acne is a very common affliction which can occur in any stage of a person's life, particularly during adolescence. Around 95% of people between the ages of 11 and 30 are affected by acne to some extent.

It is commonly caused by changes in hormone levels in the body. This causes the skin to produce an excess of sebum (oil). Bacteria that live on the skin, called P. acnes, break down the sebum for nutrients.

Acne appears when the excessive amount of sebum and bacteria clogs the skin’s pores. This causes inflammation, which creates redness and spots.

How does Zindaclin work to treat Acne?

Zindaclin’s active ingredient, clindamycin phosphate, is an antibiotic medicine which works to stop bacteria from growing. This gel works to destroy the harmful bacteria, which then stops the pores from being blocked. As a result, the redness and irritation is relieved.

    Who can use Zindaclin gel?

Zindaclin gel may not be suitable for everyone to use.

Before using Zindaclin, inform your doctor if any of the below apply to you:
